Not until then will the option to check off the desired item become available.

By setting coveted rewards such as a new video game, stylish attire, or dining at a trendy restaurant as incentives on your wish list, you give yourself something to strive towards.

When employing this method, it's crucial to avoid premature rewards. Hold off on purchasing that dress, booking dinner, or acquiring the game until after task completion. Mixing up the sequence could lead to enjoying your 'reward' without fulfilling the original task.

Additionally, it's essential to consider the points allocation between tasks and wishes. Assign fewer points, say 5, for straightforward tasks like "empty the dishwasher," and higher points, maybe 100, for more challenging tasks such as "paint the house." Similarly, allocate points accordingly for wishes; minor desires like "indulging in chocolate" may cost 15 points, whereas significant wishes like "investing in a new TV" could require 1500 points.
